James V-Twin 500cc speedway bike. 1929. The James model has been specially designed to meet the strenuous work to which speedway machines are subject to dirt track racing. The OHV twin engine was built to provide extreme acceleration to high speeds which helped it to win many races. It has a very rigid and strong frame being trussed laterally to prevent whip. This machine was discovered in the West country in 1990 and restored to its original condition. No.A10-101. Possibly the first built. It was thought only 12 were produced
